My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous mixed-breed sweetheart came to ARC from Lee County Domestic Animal Services with her sister and seven others. Hope is full of energy and has so much love to give. She’s happiest during playtime, but also melts into the best snuggles and gives the sweetest kisses.

Could Hope be the perfect match for your family?

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
