Opal is an approximately 50 lb scruffy mix ready for her forever home. She does need to
gain some weight, so her healthy weight will likely be around 60-65 lbs.
Opal is a total sweetheart. She relaxes well in a crate and does well with other dogs her size. She LOVES to play with other dogs. She can be a little forward in her play style, so needs similarly exuberant dog friends. We have noticed that though Opal does reasonably well on walks, she has a strong prey drive, so she needs a home without cats or other small animals.

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.
