My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🍁 Meet Maple — The Sweet, Playful Pup! 🍁

Maple is a gorgeous 1-year-old mixed breed with stunning red/mahogany fur and a heart full of love. She’s usually high-energy and loves to play, but when she’s feeling shy, she’ll drop her energy and take a moment to warm up—she’s the perfect mix of fun and sensitivity.

Maple has done wonderfully at our adoption events and loves meeting new people. She’s still young and learning, so she needs a lot of attention, patience, and guidance—but she’s so worth it! She’s working on her basic skills, including house training, leash manners, and what’s okay to chew (durable Nylabones are her favorite!).

She loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them, though she’s still learning social skills and sometimes misses their cues when it’s time to take a break. A secure yard with high fences is a must so she can explore safely.

This sweet girl gives the best kisses, responds beautifully to treats and praise, and is eager to please. Maple is ready to grow, learn, and share endless love with her forever family.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and slightly goofy companion, Maple is your girl! 💛

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
