My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odie Roger is a 3-year-old French & English bulldog mix who weighs about 30lb. ODIE WILL NEED AN EXPERIENCED FOSTER OR ADOPTER  WITH TRAINING EXPERIENCE.

All things Odie. Just a boy living his best life

He is definitely a busy boy. Will require an active, interactive, balanced home. Would absolutely recommend another playful, active dog in the home, It helps. He's crate trained, housebroken. Adores toys and can get a little competitive (playing with other dogs).

He is very smart and adores the husband. We are working on the cats and the primary issue is barking thru the fence and chasing if they run. But on a few occasions when a cat stopped and stood up he has retracted. So it's more sport. Again if properly placed it could work but needs to be capable person. He loves to ride, gp on walks, and get in the mud.

Odie is currenly in Cochran, GA, near Warner Robins at a training facility. Interested? Contact the coordinator suzycobb@gmail.com. Foster-to-adopt situation is available. Adoption fee is $440.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
