Hello! My name is Frankie Hewey. I am a Boston Terrier-Pug mix (or a “bugg” as some call me!). I came to the rescue as a stray: underweight, bare spots in my fur, fleas, and needing antibiotics. Thanks to my foster family, I am now at a healthy weight, my fur is growing back and looking, feeling and smelling great. I enjoy exploring a backyard. This would be a bonus in my forever home to be able to explore and play tug of war with my family and other dogs. I like to collect as many blankets as I can for napping. Just a hint there on how you can spoil me. I am trying to chase the cats when my foster parents aren’t watching. The rescue gave me a chance to have the best life possible, and now I am ready to bless another family with my love! Are you that home? Please make sure that there's no cats in my forever home.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
