Meet Phinjamin: equal parts adorable, chaotic, and fully convinced he’s the main character. This black lab mix is a certified wackadoodle with a heart of gold and the energy of a toddler who just discovered espresso. He currently lives in the admin office because Phinjamin is a lot, and we absolutely love him for it. This handsome hurricane arrived from Acadiana Animal Aid in Louisiana thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation and support from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare at the end of August
Bouncy, playful, and always ready for his next adventure, Phinjamin is still learning how to navigate the world, preferably at top speed. He already knows sit, down, and stay, and he is working very hard on paw and shake, although sometimes he forgets and offers you his whole body instead. ARF will also cover his first training class to help channel all that crazy cute energy into greatness.
Recently, our sweet boy started plucking out some of his own hair, so we ran an allergy panel. Plot twist: Phinjamin, who loves cats and grass, is allergic to cats, grass, and peanuts. His heart is absolutely shattered because this means no more snuggling with cats at his former foster home and no more rolling in grassy fields like he is filming a shampoo commercial.
Because of his unique allergy combo, Phinjamin is seeking a city loving human who prefers the concrete jungle over living in National Geographic. He would also thrive in a beach house by the dunes, because in his world, sand > grass.
He is goofy, lovable, dramatic, and smart, and with structure, patience, and consistent training, he is going to grow into one incredible companion.
If you are ready to adopt chaos wrapped in fur and joy, come meet Phinjamin today!
