Shy, sweet, and full of potential — Frances is a gentle soul who's just beginning to discover what it means to feel safe, loved, and at home.
Frances came to us from another shelter alongside her buddy Franklin. While she’s still finding her confidence, she’s already made incredible progress and is ready for the next chapter of her journey — one filled with patience, kindness, and a family who will give her the time she needs to truly shine.
During her stay in a short-term foster home, Frances was introduced to both cats and large dogs — and she handled it like a champ! Cats were no problem at all, and while she was initially cautious around the bigger pups, she warmed up over time and even started wrestling and playing with one of them! She may always prefer smaller, less intimidating animals, but she could absolutely do well with a gentle, respectful larger dog companion.
Frances is naturally curious and showed adorable signs of progress in foster — like following her person around the house (even if she quickly scampered off when noticed!). She’s slowly starting to reveal her playful side, and we just know that, in the right home, she’ll bloom into the loving, joyful pup she’s meant to be.
All she needs now is a patient, quiet home with someone who can help her continue building trust at her own pace. Once she bonds with you, she'll be your devoted little shadow — ready to return the love tenfold.
Could you be the one to help Frances discover her full sparkle?

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
