Meet Butternut
Butternut is a gentle, snuggly little soul with a heart as warm as her name. This sweet girl was found at a gas station after being dumped there with her two sisters. Her siblings have since found loving homes, and now it’s Butternut’s turn to finally get the happy ending she deserves.
Despite her rough start, Butternut has remained incredibly loving and trusting. She adores curling up in your lap, giving soft little kisses, and melting into your arms for snuggles. She’s the kind of pup who makes you feel like you’re her whole world.
Butternut would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of affection, cozy naps, and gentle reassurance. She’s ready to bond deeply with her person — she’s just waiting for someone to choose her.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a tender spirit and lots of love to give, Butternut might be your perfect match.
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events.
When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.
Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination.
All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip .
We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
