My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie is a sweet, but shy Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd.

She is current on vaccines and microchipped.

Winnie is nervous to have a leash put on, so needs to get accustomed to being leashed. She is house broken, dog friendly, and good with people, though she just will shy away, with strangers.

She is approximately 7/8 months old and weighs 45 pounds, so will most likely be a big girl when full grown.

We would love to see her go to a home with another dog in the home, for socialization and companionship.

She will be spayed as part of her adoption agreement, covered by the rescue.

If interested in Winnie, please fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Salvaged Souls Pet Rescue is based out of Texas, though we have expanded/transitioning to Colorado!

We are a registered 501c3, saving dogs from not only local (DFW) shelters, but also South Texas, Houston, San Antonio, Utah, and many other distant shelters.

We are also frequently asked to take owner surrenders, strays, abused and abandoned dogs, so we are happy to step up, as long as a local foster is willing to house a particular pet.

If we can make even a small difference in animal welfare, we are serving our purpose.
