This beauty visited us because Pretty Girl was in heat and he wanted to court her! We made sure her pen was secure and confirmed her spay appt which was just days away. Thankfully she has been spayed but this kid didn’t want to leave. He’s very skinny. That’s why his name is Skynyrd as in the rock star! This guy is a rock star , too! He is getting up to date on vaccs, the normal worming and neuter . He’s very sweet and very smart! He was neglected but guessing not abused. He’s a great dog that needs a family and a yard and lots of love! We think he’s about one year old. He’s hungry so he’s gaining weight and getting healthy to go home with you. We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
