My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Quaid — the lap-loving charmer ready to steal your heart! 🐾

Quaid is a sweet mixed-breed puppy who’s blossoming into an outgoing little guy. He likes to take his time at first — polite, curious, and thoughtful — but once he trusts you he’s all in: full snuggles, sloppy puppy kisses, and happy to curl up in your lap for cuddle time.

Quick facts:

Male, mixed breed (puppy).

Crate-trained — sleeps through the night.

Potty trained.

Loves playing with other dogs — social and playful.

Working on leash manners (learning fast!).

Personality: gentle, affectionate, and loyal. He’s the kind of pup who warms up slowly and then becomes your biggest little fan. Perfect for a family who wants a playful companion that’s also a world-class snuggle bug.

More about this rescue

We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing the pet and providing superior care.

WGSR is composed of a network of foster families and volunteers. We are always in need of more foster care providers with the time and commitment necessary to care for these animals in transition. We are also in need of volunteers who can shuttle dogs from shelters and other sites to our foster homes.
