My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***SENIOR***Sweet Mabel came from an overwhelmed shelter in SC to find a second chance at life.  She is a medium-sized adult hound who loves people and is great with other dogs. She is a sweetheart who loves to relax on the sofa rather than to play and engage in typical hound-like hijinks.  Unlike most hounds, she does not bark a lot.

Mabel is great with people, dogs, and potentially cats. She is a wonderful, calm five-year-old girl, who cannot wait to find her forever home!

Mabel rides well in the car and loves an adventure. She is easy on leash and her walks are about the sniffs and saying hello to her fellow dogs - hounds and others alike! She is in doggie playgroup during the day and loves to socialize. Really, Mabel just wants a slow walk, snuggles, and a ray of sunshine through a window to warm her as she sleeps!
