My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lainey's foster calls her "sweet and small." At 23 lbs she is a petite, young, southern gal who arrived from southern Virginia. She was a stray who may be shy at first but quickly warms up and wants to be in your lap! Lainey is an a-dor-able (!) low-rider, whose sweet face and coloring are irresistible!

Lainey is easygoing, she doesn't mind going out in the cold, and has been doing so regularly for short walks and potty. Her foster says that Lainey loves to be outside sniffing around and exploring. She has taken little Lainey on a walk and reported that Lainey is still working on her leash skills. Also, she said that Lainey is still very much like a puppy; energetic and playful, especially with other dogs. Like a puppy, Lainey needs redirection as she has a tendency to want to chew, so chew toys need to at hand. She is very people friendly and although she does not care to be picked up, her foster says that she is very cuddly and wants to be touching someone when sitting down and at rest.

Lainey is new to PAW, so we will update her information as we learn more about her!

PAW adopts in the MD, VA, DC, and southern PA region.
