My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Pennie is a gentle, 2 year old, affectionate girl whose heart truly shines when she’s around other dogs! She adores canine friends, and her confidence grows tenfold when she has a buddy by her side. Whether it’s playing, lounging, or just existing together, she thrives with a companion!

Her finest qualities:
🐶Leash manners? Impeccable.
⭐️Crate habits? Excellent with a predictable schedule.
🫂Personality? Kind, gentle, and full of love.
👌🏻Size? A Perfect 54 pounds

Pennie warms up quickly and becomes a total cuddle bug once she trusts you. She’s always down for dressing up, posing for cute pictures, or dancing in the living room to Taylor Swift like you’re both on tour. When you’re busy, she’s perfectly content entertaining herself with toys or a cozy nap!

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
