My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! “I picked Margo because I needed a calm, gentle female to help with a temp test for a scared momma dog. Margo was lying quietly in the back of her kennel, and when I approached, she shrunk back trying to make herself small.
She was AMAZING during her temp test — calm, patient, and exactly the presence that scared dog needed. When she sees a person she trusts, her face lights up and she gives the softest tail wag. In the run she was polite, well behaved, and slowly came out of her shell with little bursts of puppy energy.
I can’t believe an 11-month-old is this gentle and easygoing. She’s a plain black pittie, but she has a heart of gold. Anyone who meets her will fall in love. I really hope she can beat the odds and make it out — her future family will be SO lucky to have her.”

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
