Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stein - A Sweet And Gentle Guy Looking For His Forever Home!
We are in urgent need of a foster or adopter to help Stein out of boarding and into a loving home! Stein has been in the rescue for over a year, through absolutely no fault of his own. It’s time for this sweet guy to find his forever family!
Stein is a mixed breed who is approximately 5 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Stein has faced a tough past, having been rescued from a shelter where he was on the euthanasia list after suffering two incidents with an embedded collar. Despite everything, he’s a sweet, resilient guy who is ready to find his forever family!
Stein is a sweet and gentle guy. He likes to play but also loves to cuddle. This handsome fellow enjoys being outside and loves being around his humans. After a day of fun in the sun, Stein would love nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with his people and eat snacks.
Stein does very well with people, including children. He is gentle and laid back. Stein also gets along well with non-dominant female dogs. He will need to be in a home with no cats or small dogs.
Stein is crate trained and house trained. He walks well on a leash, with some pulling. He also enjoys baths and car rides, where he sits calmly and watches out the window.
Interested in fostering or adopting Stein? Apply online at www.fixingtheunbroken.com or email us at info@fixingtheunbroken.com.
Unable to foster or adopt? You can still help Stein by contributing to his boarding costs, routine medical care, and supply needs. Your donation ensures he has a safe, loving place to stay while he waits for his forever home.

An application, veterinarian reference, and home check are required for each prospective foster / adopter.
There is an adoption fee of $125 for animals under 1 year of age and $100 for each animal 1 year and older. This fee helps cover the cost of vaccines, spay/neuter, and a microchip. Each animal in our rescue receives medical care from a veterinarian from the day they enter the rescue until the day they are adopted. This adoption fee covers only a small fraction of overall medical costs.
Fixing the Unbroken reserves the right to decline any foster or adoption for any reason.
