😢 Rescue in Action: Amelia’s story begins with a rough start. She was dumped near her foster's house and sadly endured some unkind treatment from kids who thought it was funny to kick her when she got too close. But don’t worry! Her foster family scooped her up and brought her into their backyard, where she’s now living her best life and receiving all the love she deserves!
🐾 Breed Guessing Game Champion: From every angle, you’d think she was a different breed—she’s a delightful mix of “Why are you so cute?” and “What are you doing in my yard?”
🎾 Fetch or Flee: This little dynamo loves to play fetch, but she’s mastered the art of selective retrieval. Sometimes she brings it back like a pro; other times, she’s like, “Nah, I think I’ll keep this toy as my new best friend.”
❤️ Attention Seeker Extraordinaire: Amelia is sweeter than a chocolate bar (but don’t let her eat that!). She thrives on love and affection, and if you’re not giving her enough pets, she’ll give you the saddest puppy eyes that could make even the toughest heart melt.
🏃♀️ Energy Overload: With enough energy to power a small city, she runs circles around her large dog companions. They’re like, “Okay, we get it, you’re the queen of the yard!” Meanwhile, the cats are like, “Nope, not today, energy ball!”
🏡 Housebroken Wonder: This little genius has never had an accident inside! Whether she’s a secret potty training prodigy or just learned by watching her dog friends, we’ll never know. Either way, she’s got it down!
🛏️ Crate Training Champ: We’re currently crate training her, and she’s handling it like a pro. She’s probably thinking, “This is my new cozy hideout, right?”
Name Meaning: Amelia means “work” or “industrious.” It’s fitting for our little powerhouse who’s always on the go and ready to tackle any challenge—whether it’s fetching a toy or charming the socks off everyone she meets!

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

Home Check
We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
