My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Saylor, aka Saylor Sunshine!
Saylor is a sweet, playful 8-month-old yellow Lab mix who radiates happiness and love once she comes out of her shell. She has a history of being malnourished, so she’s a little timid at first—but with patience, trust, and love, she blossoms into a joyful, affectionate companion.

Saylor is a “dog’s dog” and would thrive with a playful canine sibling to show her how wonderful life can be in a loving home. She also gets along with cats and is gentle with children, though she would do best with older kids due to her sensitivity to sudden movements and loud noises.

This sweet girl loves cuddles on the couch, playing with toys, and lounging in the sun. She’s currently learning potty and puppy manners, and she has a fear of cars, so a home with a fenced yard for safe play is ideal. Saylor is ready to bond deeply with someone willing to give her patience, guidance, and unconditional love. She’s a light in the dark and deserves a forever family to love and protect her—could that be you?

If you are interested in meeting Saylor, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Dog and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com.

Saylor's adoption fee is $200 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, deworm, and HW testing.
