Who can pass on Sweet Elmo, and his mesmerizing icey blue eyes?
If you are an adopter that wants a calm, people friendly, cat friendly, 50 lb companion, this 8 yr old boy fits that criteria perfectly.
He will never be your hiker or jogging partner, but he loves his walks and will sit immediately once he sees the leash come out.
He likes the serenity of a quiet & peaceful household, so no young kids or rambunctious fur siblings for this Husky mix. He currently lives in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a cat & live in blissful harmony.
Elmo is both house trained & crate trained, although he is no longer crated in his foster home since he has proven to be such a good boy.
Please fill out an application if you are interested meeting "MoMo" or finding out more about this senior boy and how far he has come in his journey since being rescued and what his future needs are. The foster will be more than happy to discuss him with you, and Elmo would LOVE to get a forever family of his very own.
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
