My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lunar is a big, sweet boy who’s as friendly as they come. The moment you walk into his foster room, he’ll run to greet you with soft little meows and happily follow you around, he even tries to sneak inside to keep the fun going!

This snuggly guy loves lap time, especially when he can rest his head and soak up chin scratches. He’ll curl up, purr himself to sleep, and then hop off to do his own exploring. Playtime is a favorite too, wand toys, tunnels, and anything that keeps him moving. When he’s not busy playing, you’ll likely find him perched on the cat tree, gazing out the window at the world outside.

Lunar is laid-back, affectionate, and social. He shows no reaction to other cats, so he’d likely enjoy having a feline friend. Sometimes he gets a little amped up and nips gently, but he’s easily redirected with toys and play. Because he loves to dart around to greet people, a home without very small children or unsteady adults would be best, just so he doesn’t trip anyone in his excitement.

The ideal home for Lunar will give him the perfect mix of snuggles and space, with cozy laps, a perch by the window, and people who enjoy both his sweet side and playful bursts. This big, lovable black kitty is ready to brighten someone’s life.

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
