My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie, the little heart-stealer you should never make eye contact with… unless you’re ready to fall completely in love. Her stunning gold eyes do all the work, and before you know it, you’ll be smitten.

Winnie warms up quickly to just about everyone and genuinely dislikes no one. She has a special fondness for tweens and happily lets them carry her around like a baby. While she’s not a full-on cuddlebug, she definitely enjoys being picked up for some one-on-one affection.

Quiet by nature, Winnie communicates with the cutest soft meows and can almost always be convinced to play. especially if a wand toy is involved. She’s also very food motivated and never misses a chance to be a proud member of the Clean Plate Club.

Winnie hasn’t lived with other cats yet, but she’s made it clear that dogs are not her favorite. She won’t hide, she’ll simply arch her back and poof her tail to let them know she’s nobody’s pushover.

At about 2 years old and adorably petite, Winnie is the perfect mix of calm when things are quiet and enthusiastic when the household energy picks up. She’d thrive in a home with some activity and a few people to follow around. The perfect blend of chill and playful, Winnie is ready to bring her sweet charm to her forever family.

Adopting from HEA

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS:
Adoption is a huge deal to us. We make a lifetime guarantee to our companions. In return, we’re asking you to provide a lifetime commitment once you’ve invited a pet to join your family. We’re excited that you're considering adoption. We look forward to working with you to find the right match!

TIMELINE:
Our primary objective is to assure the correct match for the people and the pets that we’re sending to their forever homes. Our goal is to send dogs and cats home as quickly as we can, while still being thorough. Processing times will vary and are largely dependent on our ability to connect with your references, landlord, and veterinarian. To keep the process moving along, please make sure you’ve done your part:
1) Fill out your application completely - missing information slows down the process.
2) Let your references know to expect our call.
3) If you rent, let your landlord know to expect our call.
4) If you currently have pets, ask your veterinarian to be prepared to release your records.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:
We make a pact with every animal that enters our care: They’re promised a loving home for the rest of their life. In turn, when you make the commitment to adopt, we ask you to make a lifetime commitment. We believe family is forever.
