My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lala is a gentle Pitbull girl with a heart full of love, despite the hardships she’s endured. Once used for breeding and then abandoned in the desert, she now survives in a truck yard, finding shade beneath trailers and braving the heat with quiet resilience. Her puppies were taken in by others, but Lala was left behind.

Through it all, she has remained sweet, calm, and affectionate. She loves being pet and simply wants the comfort of a safe place to rest.

Lala deserves a warm, stable home where she can finally leave survival behind and spend her days as a cherished companion. If you can offer her peace, love, and security, Lala is ready to give you her gentle devotion in return.

More about this rescue

At Finding Meadows, our name says it all. We find hope where others see none.

Every day, we search the desert and rural areas of the Borderland, rescuing abandoned and stray animals left to fend for themselves. Many of these pets are dumped with no food, no water, and no shelter but we’re there to give them the love they once gave their family.

Our mission:

Rescue animals from the desert and streets

Feed, spay/neuter abandoned pets

Provide medical care, foster homes, and love

Match them with forever families where they can thrive

We work hand in hand with fosters, volunteers, and partners like Living Border / Frontera Viva to fight the animal crisis affecting our entire region. Together, we’re creating real change one rescue at a time.

When you adopt from Finding Meadows, you’re not just saving a life, you’re giving hope where it was lost.
