Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie is a 2-year-old Retriever mix with brains, beauty, and boundless energy - but what she needs most is someone who sees her potential and is ready to help her shine.
This girl is smart, active, and eager to learn, but she needs the right match: an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who can guide her through training, structure, and consistency. Millie is working on her manners and obedience as part of our Pawsitive Pawgress Program, and she’s already made great progress. She’ll come with three free training sessions after adoption to help continue her journey at home.
Millie will need to be the only pet in the home and would need an adult-only household. Due to her energy level and learning needs, her adoption may require multiple meet-and-greets to help set everyone up for success.
She’s not a beginner dog.
She’s a diamond in the rough—full of heart, potential, and drive—just waiting for the right person to believe in her. She has been waiting over a year now, and we would love for her to find her match.
If you're up for the challenge and ready for the reward, Millie is more than ready to meet you.
