True to her name, Moxie is a spunky, playful girl who brings a spark everywhere she goes! She is a picky eater at times but will gladly accept some "stinky" wet food or treats. She is pretty easy going when it comes to walking on a leash and going for car rides. She is mostly just excited to be with whoever will show her attention. She is friendly with all people and gets along with most dogs her size, however, she would not be a fit with small dogs, overly energetic pups, or cats. Moxie also loves to play, especially with balls and will even entertain herself with them. Moxie is currently on daily seizure medication and has done wonderfully on it, having no seizures while in our care. Therefore it is important that adopters keep her on this medication to give her a long and healthy life.
Moxie's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Moxie is seeking a home as an indoor only pet. Last Hope requires that all adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, kept current on vaccines and preventatives, and as indoor pets only.
