This sweet little Chihuahua mix is as special as her name. Mama Chai Tea was found near the river with her three puppies, and thanks to a kindhearted Good Samaritan, she and her babies were rescued. With her motherly days behind her, Mama Chai Tea is ready to find a forever family of her own.
She’s an outgoing, happy, and lovable girl who adores snuggles and being close to her people. Mama Chai Tea gets along wonderfully with both big and small dogs, is kennel trained, housebroken, and even knows how to use a dog door. She loves kids, rides great in the car, and is working to learn basic skills and always up for a walk.
Though she may be a little skittish at first, that fades quickly once she realizes she’s safe. At heart, she’s an incredibly relaxed and easy-to-get-along-with pup who will fit right into just about any home. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, and laid-back companion who has already proven her resilience, Mama Chai Tea is waiting to meet you.
She can be a bit of an opportunist so a secure fence is a must. With her quiet nature, she would also do well in an apartment provided she gets enough physical and mental stimulation

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
