My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for your interest in adopting Charlie.

Charlie lives in a Montevallo area Foster Home, But don't let the distance deter you. He was abandoned on the side of country highway in August 2024. We remain hopeful that Charlie will find his forever home.

Charlie just wants a relationship with the people who care for him. He's a good house dog and good company for another dog. Charlie is a submissive male. He's never tried to dig. He will bark at cats he sees outside. Charlie hasn't lived with young children in rescue. He's been good with kids over 8.

Charlie is neutered, up to date on everything and heartworm negative.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer foster home based animal rescue organization in central Alabama. We trap and rescue strays, abandoned and unwanted litters, and we have a TNR program which results in rescuing social cats occasionally. We also pull from rural shelters when we have a foster home in place. We save lives and help to lower the over-population by spaying/neutering animals in our care and we offer assistance every month to low income families who need help fixing their pets.
