Meet Wendell! 💛

Wendell is a 6-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as his 75-pound frame! This gentle giant was taken in as a stray at just 7 months old and has spent the last several years living peacefully in a home with 15 other dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s truly a pack-friendly boy who gets along with everyone.

Unfortunately, his owner had to downsize her dog family, so Wendell came to us. From the moment we met him, it was clear—this boy is pure love! 🥰 He’s chill, affectionate, housebroken, and oh-so-sweet. Wendell absolutely aced his temperament test and showed us just how easygoing and wonderful he is.

If you’re looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will fit right in with your family, Wendell is your guy! This handsome hunk of love is ready to give his heart to a forever home.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Pay Fee

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
