Finn (fka Snickers) is a handsome 2-year male Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on September 12, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who had him taking a stroll by himself at Muskingum Park on Front Street in Marietta Ohio. Finn was wearing a harness but unfortunately there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on his harness .. And he was not microchipped.
Finn has a beautiful chocolate brown-and-white coat, white paws, a long tail, and a cute (rather mischievous-looking) white face with dark brown eyes, a large patches of brown at the base of his ears, a slender white muzzle, a chocolate brown/blue button nose, and large brown semi-erect ears. We guarantee that you won't be able to look at his cute face with putting a big smile on your face.
Finn may look familiar to many of our HSOV followers since he was in our shelter on June 17, 2025 and was posted on our Facebook pages under the name Snickers. He was reclaimed on June 24th so we were hopeful that his owner would come for him this time .. Sadly, Finn had been rehomed and we have been unable to make contact with his new owner.
These updated photos were taken on September 19, 2025 when HSOV Kennel Tech Emma Dahlgren accompanied Finn for a short outing and a little exercise while our photographer snapped pictures. Finn hasn't really changed in appearance, and he still has the same happy enthusiasm and zest for life.
Finn weighs 53 lbs and very energetic on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Finn was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Sadly nobody called or came looking for Finn this time.
