My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Victor is an adorable 1-1/2 year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who was found on Vickers Road in the Marietta Ohio area and was thankfully brought to the HSOV by a Good Samaritan on November 2, 2025. Victor was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.

Victor has a charcoal gray short smooth coat with a vertical white stripe on his chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with soulful brown eyes, a blue/gray nose, and short semi-erect ears.

This awesome young man has a friendly, outgoing personality.

These photos of Victor were taken on November 5, 2025 when HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton accompanied him outdoors and helped him with his best Petfinder/Facebook poses. Victor was a delight to photograph as he playfully explored the pile of leaves in our photo area. This little guy has the happiest disposition. Victor smiled continuously and wagged his tail a mile-a-minute to show just how happy he was to be with Lauryn~

Victor weighs 46.2 lbs and has already been neutered.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Victor was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Sadly nobody called or came looking for this magnificent boy .. So another lucky individual or family will now have the opportunity to adopt Victor.

Update: Victor was adopted on November 16, 2025.
