My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sherman! He is a 4yr old neutered male American Pitbull/Border Collie mix that weighs 43lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 9/22 as a stray. He has the sweetest disposition. He walks great on a leash and enjoys investigating the areas of the shelter yard. He loves to follow along while I was walking, getting plenty of pets and he even gives kisses. He is a well-mannered, gentle, affectionate boy that takes treats gently. We tried several types of toys, but he couldn’t decide on the right one. Walking past the other dogs barking at him, he showed no interest in then, but we do ask if you have another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Its very easy to easy how much love this great boy has to give. Having a secured yard to run and play in,but live indoors where he can cuddle close to his human companions, giving them plenty of hugs and kisses. You can’t go wrong with such a loving pup as Sherman.
