Isn’t she just the sweetest? This beautiful girl stole our hearts and even though this is a courtesy post, we couldn’t say no after hearing her st ory. Rose has spent almost her entire two years outside, even through freezing weather — she was just left all alone. Luckily, some kind neighbors started talking o her “owners” about giving her up so she could have a better life. After a long wait, this past Saturday she was finally surrendered!
Turns out, Rose had NEVER been to the vet before—like, ever!
But thanks to those kind neighbors, she’s now up to date on vaccines and will be getting spayed soon. She’s even starting kennel training and learning to socialize with people and other dogs

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
