Meet Jalen Carter! 💙 This sweet boy is stressed in the shelter environment, and really needs to find a home‼️ Jalen Carter is a charming 2-year-old pup with soulful eyes that will melt your heart. He was brought to the shelter as a stray over 4 months ago, so his past is a mystery. He's ready to start his next chapter as your loyal companion!❣️ He knows basic commands and walks okay on a leash. 🐾
Jalen is an active dog who would make an excellent running buddy. 🐾 He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and burn off some energy. 🌳 While we're unsure how he'll be with other dogs, a meet and greet is always required to ensure a good match. 🐶 If you're looking for a loving and lively companion, Jalen Carter could be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet him and give him the forever home he deserves!❣️🏠

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
