Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parent at amlubar@gmail.com. Please check out this video showing a day in the life of the endearing Stella Luna: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k10lhL6Zg4
Miss Stella Luna is a beautiful 45-lb gal with such soulful eyes. Stella Luna is doing great in her foster home and they love having her. They report that she’s such wonderful company and a snuggle bug! She sleeps soundly in her crate, is potty trained, and could not be easier. She does fine when left alone in her crate, but has also been left alone uncrated while her foster is at the office and she`s been fine.
She loves to look out the window and watch people go by and doesn’t bark. She enjoys tug and curling up on the couch with a chew toy. She`s energetic and enjoys walks. She seems friendly toward dogs she passes on walks. She`s very affectionate.
She seems to have perfected the pleading puppy dog eyes as we all fall for her loving gazes. And she is not only a leaner when getting pettings but a curver - oh yes, she practically wraps her love all over you and it`s super charming. Stella Luna has not always had an easy life, and we promised this very good girl that her next home will be the best - because she is the best too!

More about this shelter
At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.
With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
