My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dragonfly is a very sensitive and shy soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. New situations and close interactions make her anxious. While Dragonfly isn’t ready for hands-on affection yet, she is taking small, meaningful steps forward. Food is a gentle bridge to her heart. With patience, she accepts treats—even eating them in front of a person after becoming comfortable with the individual. She enjoys lick mats as well, though she prefers to eat them once she has privacy.

She has experience living with other cats and has done well alongside her previous owner’s small dog, showing that she can peacefully coexist with other pets when given time and space.

Dragonfly would do best in a very calm, quiet home with an experienced, patient adopter who is willing to let her set the timeline. She may never be a cuddly cat, but for the right person, offering her safety, consistency, and respect could be incredibly rewarding. Watching Dragonfly slowly learn to feel secure will be a special journey—and one she deserves.
