Greybeard is a curious little piggy who loves to explore his surroundings and snack on fresh veggies - he'll even squeak in excitement at the sight of his greens! Although he's still opening up, he enjoys receiving pets. Greybeard will thrive with a large enclosure with plenty of space to roam, lots of hay for munching and cozy spots to relax. Guinea pigs are extremely social creatures and typically benefit significantly from living with another guinea pig friend of the same sex! He would appreciate a gentle and attentive owner who can provide him with daily interaction and enrichment. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
