My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Isn’t Ranger a beauty?! She is a 1.5 year old Pyrenees we rescued from the Illinois hoarding case we continue to work on where owner lets his dogs roam to the neighbors. Ranger is settling into her foster home and is an absolute sweetheart just like all the other dogs that have come from that property. Ranger gets along with other dogs and was also around cats before she came to us. She’s a little shy of new things— we are looking forward to seeing her transformation to being a pampered dog!
Being fostered in Rockford, IL

Ranger is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Missouri is dedicated to rescuing Great Pyrenees who are without a home, need medical attention, or just need a safe haven as they transition to their forever home. We are a volunteer, nonprofit rescue, relying solely on your generous donations. We are currently working to establish our rescue facility in St. Clair, Missouri. Until our facility is constructed, we will be foster based only, with fosters in Missouri and surrounding states. We will continue to have fosters after our facility is built. Our facility will allow us to rescue more Pyrenees in need.
