My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stanley, the lovable hunk with a heart as big as his blocky head! This handsome pittie is a low-drama, easy-energy kind of guy who’s just looking for a home that appreciates his goofy charm and zest for zoomies.Stanley is on the chunky side (more to love!), and he could benefit from shedding a few pounds—but don’t be fooled, this boy can MOVE. His favorite pastime? Running big joyful laps around the play yard like he’s training for the World’s Happiest Marathon. Give him some open space, and he’ll put that grin to work. When it comes to other dogs, Stanley isn’t much of a social butterfly—unless your idea of friendship is side-by-side sprinting. He’s not into rough-and-tumble or wrestling matches but might enjoy a canine buddy who shares his love for the open track.Stanley’s vibe is delightfully chill when he’s not mid-zoom, and he has an easygoing presence that makes him a joy to hang out with. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts mellow companion and backyard athlete, Stanley might just be your guy.Ready to cheer on this chunky track star as he trots into his best life? Stanley’s laced up and waiting!

This cutie guy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:
