Name: Mims
Age: 10 - 12 years old
Weight: 55 lbs
Breed: Labrador Terrier Mix
Sweet Mims was surrendered at the kill shelter when her owner decided her health concerns were too much trouble to deal with and asked that she be euthanized.
Thankfully, Mims showed everyone she met what a complete sweetheart she is and the shelter reached out to us to see if we could nurse her back to health and give her a second chance at a loving home.
Mims is a staff favorite who has a long list of hobbies!
• she likes cuddling.
• she loves to nap on the couch although she’s reluctant to climb up without encouragement. (it seems possible she was not allowed on furniture)
• she loves a bit of tug and settling in with her popcorn toy for a good chew
• she loves all people. She’s incredibly friendly and gentle with people.
• she loves little walks
• she’s great at the vets office
• she loves sun bathing and rolling in the grass
• she’s great in the car
Mims would do best in an adult only home or with older children. She does not get on well with other animals.
Mims is listed as special needs due to her health concerns, please find her on our social media pages to see how far shes come. Mims is looking for a loving retirement home to give her all the love she has missed out on so far.
