Why Choose Blade?
Blade is a friendly and smart boy who is eager to please. With his charming personality, he’s sure to win over your heart. Here are some reasons why Blade would make a great addition to your family:
Fully Vetted: He is in excellent health. He is heartworm negative and has received all necessary vaccines. Additionally, he is microchipped and neutered, ensuring he is ready for a new chapter in your home.
Trainable and Obedient: Known for his intelligence, Blade is easy to train and listens well on a leash. Whether you’re looking for a pet to join you on walks or someone to teach new tricks, Blade is up for the challenge.
Social and Friendly: He gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting new people. His sociable nature makes him a versatile companion who can fit into various family dynamics.

More about this rescue

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.

100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.

BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.

We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.

BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
