Their adoption process

We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
Please follow this link https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ and select "Adoption Application Form". Submit form.
  2. Approve Application
Our application team will process your application and inform you of your status by email. This process usually is completed in 7-10 days.
  3. Meet the Pet
If approved, you will receive a welcome email. Reply to email with the dog you would like to meet. You will be put in contact with foster.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet is successful, you will sign adoption contract, pay adoption fee and take dog home with you.

Go meet their pets

We hold monthly adoption events where anyone can attend to meet available dogs or learn more about our rescue. Approved applicants are also able to adopt at event with entire household present. Please check out our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s for more information on upcoming events!

More about this rescue

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.

We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us, fostering, or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
