Here's what the humans have to say about me:
!!URGENT: DEADLINE FOR ADOPTION/RESCUE- WED 12/10 @5:00 PM!!
Tony’s Sleepover- Hi, I’m Tony, and I just had a sleepover at a volunteer’s house. WOW. So many objects to relocate! Shoes, blankets, candles—I helped move everything to new, exciting places. Apparently that’s “not allowed,” but I’m a working dog. I take my job seriously. They had these magical “baby gates.” Rude. I can jump, but they said “boundaries.” I’m learning what that means… slowly. Inside, I tried really hard to remember potty rules. I didn’t totally get it, but I’m working on it. My human disappeared a few times (tragic), so I lightly scratched the door to remind them I was alive. The car ride? I was a saint. Just sat in the back like a philosophical wolf, watching the world go by. They kept checking if I evaporated. Bath time was… wet. I survived. At night I curled up by their feet like a good boy, but around 3 AM I had an important thought: what if… ball? They said “not now,” so I sighed dramatically and went back to sleep. Going back to the shelter was hard. My brain gets loud there. But out of the shelter? I’m smart, fast, sweet, and ready to bond with my person. I’m not an easy dog—but with structure, patience, and someone who loves a high-drive goofball, I’ll be the best partner ever. Love, Tony
Tony has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match! Check out his playgroup video here:
