My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Some cats raise kittens. Una and Ursula raised a dynasty, and then handed the whole next generation off to loving homes.

These two devoted moms teamed up to care for seven kittens so seamlessly that we never could tell which babies belonged to whom. They shared the feedings, the cuddles, and the occasional “stern mom look” with equal dedication, proving that motherhood is best done in partnership.

Their rambunctious little ones were adopted months ago, and now Una and Ursula are back at the shelter, ready for their own happily ever after, together. Una, a beautiful dilute tortie with wise, loving eyes, is sweet and affectionate, happiest with gentle attention and cozy nap spots. Ursula, a stunning grey-and-white beauty, is equally loving and appreciates calm companionship, warm sunbeams, and the occasional chat while you deliver head scratches.

Think of this as their glow up era: no more nursery shifts, no more kitten chaos, just two bonded best friends looking for a fresh start and a soft place to land. If you have room in your heart and home for a pair of gentle, loving ladies who have already done the hard work, Una and Ursula are ready to be the ones getting spoiled.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
