Meet Snack Wrap!! Don’t let the name fool you—this big guy is more of a full combo meal than a snack. He came in as a stray on 9/20/25, and we think he’s about 5 years old. With his big, blocky head and strong build, he’s basically a walking tank of love (with a side of stubborn).
Snack Wrap is handsome, confident, and knows what he wants—kind of like that friend who won’t share the remote. He’ll need someone who can handle his strength and appreciate his “I do what I want” personality. But underneath that tough-guy vibe, he’s really just looking for his people to give him the forever home he deserves.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
