This classy gal strutted into the shelter as a stray on 10/24/25, and we think she’s about 5 years old. Don’t let her initial shyness fool you — Georgia warms up fast once she realizes you’re part of her fan club.
We’re pretty sure she used to live the good life, because the moment she spotted the bench, she hopped right up like “Ah yes, my throne.” This girl clearly believes furniture is for queens — and she is most definitely one. 👑
Georgia is sweet, friendly, and absolutely powered by treats. She’s looking for a forever home with someone who appreciates her refined taste and snuggle potential.
She is available for adoption now, so hurry in to meet her before someone else claims this couch-loving cutie!

All adoptions are $199.00. Adoptions include the following: Vaccines, microchip, Current dog license, spay/neuter, de-worming medication.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
