Medical Foster Spotlight: Sadie (aka Mavis)
Looking for a foster (or foster-to-adopt)!
Meet Sadie, also known as Mavis—a sweet little senior Chihuahua with the cutest underbite you’ll ever see. At around 10 years old and under 10 lbs, she may be tiny, but she has a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Sadie has several upcoming procedures: senior bloodwork, cherry eye surgery, a spay, dental surgery, and a mammary mass removal. Because of all these medical needs, she deserves to be in a quiet, loving foster home where she can relax and heal between appointments.
She is super sweet, loves people, and would thrive in a calm environment where she can soak up love and snuggles. She is currently intact and still goes into heat, so it’s important her foster can keep her safe until she is spayed.
We are looking for a foster in or near Louisa County, VA, or someone willing and able to travel for her surgeries. As always, fosters have the first option to adopt once the pet is medically cleared and ready for adoption.
