My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Yucca
DSH Brown Tabby
Approx age: 1 1/2 years

Yucca is such a gorgeous girl. She has a beautiful ticked tabby coat. She is also very vocal.

Background: She was found as a stray and taken in by some neighbors who helped complete her vet care. They struggled to find her a permanent home and asked if we could take her in.

About: Yucca can become overstimulated. She would thrive in a quiet environment where she gets lots of one on one attention from her person/people. While she has tolerated living with other cats, we think her ideal situation would be as an only cat. We have not seen her with dogs but feel they would also be stressful for her. Older respectful children would be great! She loves her people and interaction with them.

Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
