My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Colt is 7 years young and lives up to his name — full of energy, spunk, and heart, just like a young horse. He loves a good game of tug-of-war with his person or happily entertains himself with a collagen braid. Food is one of his favorite motivators, and he’ll often sit before you even ask if he sees a treat in your hand. That said, the thing he values most may just be your company. After a past where he didn’t get much attention, Colt is making up for lost time by soaking in all the love he can.

Colt doesn’t currently live with another dog, but we think he’d thrive with a playful canine friend. On walks, he’s bouncy and curious, eager to sniff everything around him, yet he still checks in with his person often and doesn’t hold you up.

In his foster home, Colt shares space with two cats — though they might tell you their only complaint is that he sometimes steals their catnip toys!

Colt is ready to bring joy, play, and companionship to his forever family. Could that be you?
