Sadie is a 9-year-old hound mix with a heart as big as her floppy ears! This sweet senior girl is full of love and still has plenty of pep in her step. She adores going for walks, splashing around in the water, and cuddling up with her favorite plushy toys.
Sadie is incredibly affectionate and bonds deeply with her people, she’ll happily follow you around and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. She knows her name, “sit,” and “shake,” and she’ll show off her manners for a treat or a little praise.
While Sadie gets along well with cats, she prefers to be the only dog in her home. She values her personal space and will thrive in a calm, dog-free environment where she can truly relax. The noisy kennel setting makes her a bit anxious, so she’s hoping to find her forever family soon, one that can offer her comfort, love, and a cozy spot to call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready to fill your days with joy and companionship, Sadie might just be your perfect match.
Age: 9 years Weight: 70 pounds Other Dogs: Not recommended that she be in a home with other dogs Cats: Friendly Kids: Does well with kiddos per previous owners Home Type: quiet home, not left alone for long periods of time Leash Behavior: can pull when excited, but overall walks nicely
