My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof* If you`d like to meet me, please email my foster caregiver at cesar.perez2003@gmail.com.

Splash has been amazing in his foster home, where he quickly adjusted to his new routine. He loves his daily walks and playing and also has a knack for deep sleeping on his bed or couch.

There is so much to love about Splash. Actually, there is a lot to love as this handsome sweetheart is the real deal! He is a hefty darling who clearly likes his meals! He is incredibly so cute anyway! Splash was adopted from us not too long ago but sadly his owner could not keep him. But he is very ready to find a new family today. In his previous home, Splash was happy to see guests and wag his adorable tail! And he thought squirrels should never enter the yard! What a funny pup. And it was shared that he is a very sweet and loving doggie who is loyal and precious. He recently went on a fun field trip with a volunteer, and they shared, `Splash is an easy-going dude! He is so gentle and loving.`

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
