This helps Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue with pet care costs.
Archie is a very friendly dog! He’s a one year old German Shepherd mix, born 2024. This young furbaby is already housebroken! Archie Is friendly with older children (age 6+). This active boy is also leash trained and knows some commands. Archie prefers to have another dog around or he gets lonely.
Archie is doing well with his commands training and can easily be trained with treats. Archie needs a fenced yard to run and play fetch without a leash. The perfect home would be a house with kids and dogs that would run around with him.
Archie is looking for a forever home where he will get lots of love and attention. He needs an active home that where he will have someone to play with him and take him on regular walks.
Archie would be better in a home without cats - he is obsessed or tends to fixate on the resident cat. He is crate trained, but will barks for about 5 minutes when he goes in, but then he quiets down and relaxes.
The suggested adoption donation for Archie is $415, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.
Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption.
